The John Boswell Prize will be awarded for an outstanding book on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or queer history published in English in 2009 or 2010.
The Joan Nestle Undergraduate Prize will be awarded for an outstanding paper on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or queer history completed in English by an undergraduate student in 2009 or 2010.
We have overhauled the website not only to update the content, but to provide an interactive, dynamic, member-driven site. Members of the Committee will have the opportunity to use the Forum section and to create in-depth profiles, in order to allow greater conversation and collaboration. We also encourage those of you who have come to our organization for the first time to become paid members, to support the Committee’s work in promoting LGBTQ historical scholarship and teaching, in addressing discrimination and other problems facing LGBTQ persons in historical professions, to receive our most current newsletter and updates, and to fully utilize this site’s capabilities.
