Pending budgetary resources, the Department of Gender and Women’s Studies at the University of California, Berkeley, seeks to appoint several part-time Lecturers to teach courses relating to feminist theory, gender (including gender and global political issues) and/or sexuality (with an emphasis on queer visual and literary cultures) during the 2011-12 academic year.

We seek candidates with superior pedagogical qualifications, expertise in the creation of instructional material and the teaching of writing, and at least one year of teaching experience, including supervising teaching assistants, Ph.D. required. These are temporary positions.
